In this introduction to pie making you will learn how to make the flakiest pie dough. We’ll focus on the most daunting elements of pie making for home bakers: making the dough by hand and rolling it out to form pie shells and different tops. You will also be learn about ‘blind baking”, Quiche, Veloute, and Chicken Pot Pie.
You will:
- Learn the simplicity of making delicious Classic Pie Dough
- Understand the role of Gluten in baked goods
- Understand the importance of and how to choose quality Ingredients
- Receive tried and true recipes for perfect pies
- Be able to share delicious & wholesome pies with friends and family
- The class runs 6pm – 8pm
This class will be on Zoom. You will receive all information to join the class via email a few days before the class. You will also receive recipes, and equipment list.
A video of the class will be sent out after the class.
You will provide all ingredients and equipment needed if you decide to make the items.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
– 72-hours prior to the start of the class a full refund will be issued
– Less than 72 hours ahead of class start, you can choose another scheduled class
– One hour before class starts, no-shows, or late arrivals, there will be no refunds or rescheduled class.
– After class starts there will be no refunds or rescheduling for leaving early.
