In this introduction to Gluten-free Baking you will learn how to make your own blend of gluten free flour mix, and gluten-free pie dough. We’ll focus on the most daunting elements of pie making for home bakers: making the dough by hand and rolling it out to form pie shells and different tops. You will also be shown various methods of pie fillings, as well as full instructions on baking and storing. The recipes for this class will be both sweet and savory, using the same basic dough. We will make a seasonal fresh fruit-filled pie with lattice and/or crumb crust, and a savory quiche.
You will:

This class will be on Zoom. You will receive all information to join the class via email a few days before the class. You will also receive recipes, and equipment list.
You will provide all ingredients and equipment needed if you decide to follow along during the class, or make the items at a later time.
In-person Pie making classes are also available for special events: one-on-one, bridal shower, birthday parties, gathering with friends, or corporate team building, at your location.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
– 72-hours prior to the start of the class a full refund will be issued
– One hour or less before class starts, or no shows, or late arrivals, there will be refunds or rescheduled class.
– Less than 72 hours ahead of class start, you can choose another scheduled class
– After class starts there will be no refunds or rescheduling for leaving early.
