Alyson can make anything taste like perfection. I recently had her latest lemon cake…and I almost ate the whole thing in a couple days! I even ate it in place of meals, it was that good. (I know! I know! Lol) It was unbelievably moist and had a light and lovely glaze with lemon zest on top. That cake was to die for! I’d also like to share that Alyson is not just an awesome baker and chef, she is a wonderful lady as well, and is an incredible asset to the community of Altadena.

To be honest and for pretty obvious reasons, I should have been running from Alyson The Altadena Pie Lady. But I didn’t. I tried the peach pie. It was fresh, juicy, flakey-crusted and actually more delicious than it looked in the photos, something we all know never happens. So I’ve made a new friend. I just can’t visit as often as I’d like…..
